The charming cottage, close to Sagfjorden, is decorated in an old-fashioned way.Arctic Wilderness Experience s 3-bedroom cottage features a wood-burning stove and gas-driven oven and fridge. Even though there is no electricity, guests can still relax with a book by the fireplace or by candlelight.Bathroom facilities and running water are located in the building next to the cottage. Guests are free to use the BBQ facilities on site and children can enjoy the playground.The scenic setting can be especially enjoyed by boating, fishing and hiking in the area s fjord. Staff can help arrange fishing and boat rentals.Innhavet, 24 km from Arctic Wilderness, has a selection of stores and cafés. Hamsun Centre, a museum dedicated to the Norwegian author Knut Hamsun, is about a 50-minute drive from the cottage. Both Bodø and Narvik, with airports in each town, are about 3 hours drive away. |
